Is AT&T allowing tethering? If not is there an extra cost?

They said it will be available later on, and that there will be an additional fee.

[QUOTE=shinerbocksi;4433491]I've tried many a many ways, this works without calling AT&T with the modded carrier file.

Under MMS in cellular data, put this:

APN ims.cingular

MMSC mmsc.cingular.com/ims
MMS Proxy wireless.cingular.com

All other fields are left blank, this works on both of my iPhones.

POWER CYCLE YOUR PHONE, then test send a message.

Nope, this doesn't do it for me and I am on AT&T

Head over to stealthbravos MMS thread and follow the instructions to get the updated ipcc file. I'm on family messaging unlimited as well. Here is 1 more setting that may work.

mmsc: mmsc.cingular.com
proxy: wireless.cingular.com:80
apn, usernama, password: blank

Remember, all settings are CASE sensitive.

Funny. I had the camera icon in my text app in either beta4 and/or 5 and MMS was working too for a couple of hours on AT&T. It disappeared after a while (before I upgraded to the official 3.0), and now that I have 3.0 official, I still don't have the icon. I don't even have the option to attempt to send an MMS message. Anyone know what happened?

From what I have read on Apple's and AT&T's site, the percentage next to the battery meter is a feature of the "3G S", so we will not get it on the 3G.

Hi, I agree great post. Even tho these should have been added from day 1 it makes the phone great again. If u could text without closing an app it would have been good, but I'll guess I'll just have to jb again. I tried a2dp on a Panasonic system in my shop and it was excellent and I also sent my first mms in about 5 years ;p

That is not a percentage meter it is the clock alarm.... go to your clock and set the time to go off at a certain time and you will see it by the battery....
