Very cool! I'll be able to sell my 3G unlocked when I upgrade to a 3GS. I had tried one of the 3.0 beta firmwares and got stuck with the 4.26 baseband since I have the 5.09 bootloader.

So my understanding is that it will be fine on itunes final release of 8.2 but one question. I have found that the only way to keep my MMS and Tethering options were to update my ipcc with a file posted on here. IIRC 8.2 fixed the option of updating that ipcc within itunes and i was unable to get it to update via SSH previously. Any thoughts? Also.. for any MMI mods.. ive tried to email several times.. ive been a registered member here for some time but why will the boards not let me start a new thread?? Thanks...

What am I to do?
So is the yellowsn0w 3.0 ready to be downloaded right now, for I am using a piggyback simcard and it sucks *** really bad, will the yellowsn0w unlock the phone even if it's still 2.2.1 or do I need to upgrade to 3.0? also is there any form of upgrades for the iphone 3g that we need since the new one is coming out soon?
