Guys, it's not unlocked. Gizmodo lied. It has been jailbroken, but not unlocked yet. Gizmodo also lied about a few other things too.

NO! People stop watching the video from Gizmodo and thinking that it has something to do with this! That was from a while ago, to prove that custom firmware on the iPhone was possible. This is different! Even look at the date on that video, february 1st...hmmm....I don't think so, since 1.2 was only obtained from my source simply known as "R" two days ago.

Do you think Apple is likely to actually release a firmware numbered 2.0 (not just 1.2 named 2.0 with minor fixes) with a fix to this jailbreak? That might have been the point to this beta firmware all along, sadly...

First of all, good work iPhone-Dev Team! You never cease to amaze me...

Second, for everyone asking them to release PWNED and the firmware early, it will never happen. Apple will most likely release a new set of iPhones (im guessing with colors) in June along with the public firmware. The team wouldn't want them to know how PWNED exploits the NOR and fix it with new bootloaders and hardware.

Third, the iPhone-Dev Team could potentially charge for PWNED. Keep supporting them with donations and links to their website: iphone-dev.org (it could use a better google ranking)

okay PF said that this only works with "...hacked activations..." right. So i was wondering would this work for me. I DO have AT&T BUT i don't have an actual service plan. Instead I have a prepaid SIM in my iPhone by jail-breaking and activating.

everyone needs to stop complaining about apple finding out and patching it up. do you really think apple would release a beta, even 'securely', without plans to double check security etc before the actual version is released? Its pointless jumping up and down saying "OMG now they're gonna fix it!" My bet is Apple wre fixing it before the devs managed to 'break' it

expect more than a 10 minute wait after 2.0 is released before we get a public jailbreak guys

I just wanna know some of the new features
