if that were true then why would apple work so hard to find new ways to encrypt the iPhone? And why would they put signs in the apple store warning customers about hacking their phone? And they would make a lot more money if the iPhones weren't hacked. Because then everyone would get their software through the App Store apple is introducing.

Dev Team really works for APPLE!!!!!!!
I honestly think that the "DEV TEAM" works with apple. Why else do they do the breaking thing but yet they cant "CANT" make a program that 90% of all iPhone owners want. Yet you ask what is that.... A locking program or function that can have a screen in the settings - General - Auto Lock Programs... That would let you choose between every app that is on your phone and be able to use your 4digit lock code to be able to lock and open apps. You say "What Apps" well Email - SMS - Photos.. So that you can honestly share the iPhone with ANYONE and not worry about them going through your personal stuff. I personally have to delete almost everything I get so that people can’t see it if (you know everyone want to) see the iPhone. So go figure... Why can NO ONE do this? But yet we can make every little stupid program out there but yet not one that EVERYONE would want. Heck I would pay 5 bucks to have that and I know a lot of others would and just think of all that money. Come on now people start thinking about who is who.....

It's not 2.0
The SDK ships with 1.2
2.0, with all the enterprise functionality, is ONLY available to corporate testers.
Apple hasn't even approved the first corporate application to send the firmware file too.
Those test kits will involve REAL iPhones, not simulators.

Do you actually think we care if the DEV team works for Apple. Keep up the great work

I have a question? Someone earlier speculated that Apple released this fw so early to see what jailbreak method would be used for this and than quickly change the fw before it's official release which i guess is the reason why this ***xed fw isn't being released early. Why does the jb method need to be told or announced? Why not just...released? Or is that kinda the same thing?

Happy to hear this. I guess it's inevitable that all firmwares will be broken, however I feel this one doesn't have as much impact as the previous ones have. Tied to this firmware is the reason many of us jailbreak in the first place. I know some 3rd-party apps will not be allowed on the store and the need for jailbreak will continue, the few apps I would like to see will probably see the light of day through the app.store so yeah...
...I'm more excited about the ipwned because restoring and re-doing everything again is annoying.

THEY dont want to keep secrets.
They want everyone to know (..Zibree..) that they DOMINATE and they want apple to know too.
Good work guys - you truly doo own.myRepoSpace.com - Easily create your own Cydia Repo.

very impressive, however, how do we know that the exploit that they used won't be patched already by apple come the public release?
Really though, great work. Apple = PWN'dAnd it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Awesome! Is there anything they can't do?
My theory is that they are Apple Geniuses working from within the company
