Ugh, I dont know why I am having a problem. I downloaded a version from SB and The megaupload and both download as a folder and when I try to change the file name it doesnt change to the .ipsw. I am running on a Mac. Anyone know?

Don't download them with Safari...Safari is unzipping the ipsw when its done downloading automatically...

Use firefox and it will be fine

You have to mount the dmg's.

Compress the folder into a .zip archive, then change the suffix to .ipsw and you have your file. ON the Mac, pull out the .zip archive that just got extracted from the Trash, then change the suffix.

Or deselect "Open safe files automatically" on Safari prefs before downloading.

Thanks for the tip guys. Downloading a fresh copy to try it out. Has anyone officially read the terms and conditions the developers must accept to download this? I am seeing many reports that installing this GM version could block commercial copies from being installed. Has anyone seen or have a copy of the official disclaimor?

I'm using the GM Seed and it didn't even have the camera button in messages. I had to update the .ipcc file, and it added the camera button, but MMS still won't send.

u can call anyone u want from the emergency call screen u just cant access the homescreen it is still fully unlocked just not activated. u need to jailbreak in order to bypass activation

Running the MG with virgin mobile Australia
runs fine with 0 problems
MMS works with updated IPCC tho there is no tethering option
who cares any way ill use the jailbrake option

Unless theyve fixed it, I think if you're downloading with firefox, it messes it up. Or it could be safari. Its been a while since I had that problem. (Thats if youre on a mac.)
