im rather disappointed in the new phone..only reason i would get the 3gs is because they dont have the 3g in 16 GB no more....im going to weigh my options with the pre first b4 i spring for a contract with either one

Video can only be done with the new iPhone 3GS. Currently you can have video with Cycorder.

Just was on apples website to checkout pricing, I purchased my 3G on 9/20 of last year so I went through the preorder process (which isn't working) and the pricing I got was 299 for 3g 8Gb, 399 for 16Gb 3Gs, and 499 for 32Gb 3Gs

yup, I purchased my 3G last july (upgraded from 2G), and I have to wait till August 1st, 09 before I can get the 32GB 3Gs for $299.
Otherwise its $499 for me.

No, he's just saying once mr. i-set-my-expectations-so-high-because-i-believed-every-dumb-rumor-on-the-internet falls back down to earth and see the 3GS as surprisingly better phone than the 3G, he'll probably end up getting one himself. Or he can just be happy with his 3G (which still is an awesome phone)
