yes i am one of those pple... but its mainly the camera that interested me the most.

1 thing tho. Is this gs gonna be the EXACT same dimensions?... and what about the port in the bottom... same pin connection? or am i gonna have to get all new docs/accessories?

So then this is different than last year in that everyone that now has an iPhone 3G will have to wait until they are eligible or pay full price. BLAH!

Everyone paid full price for the original, then got the sudsidized cost on the 3G. You're still paying for that sudsidized bonus with your contract so you can't get another subsidized phone until it finishes.

That's straight from the apple store. If you have the 3G and for some reason want to the GS, you will have to pay full price AND extend the contract.

i especially like how they throw a ridiculous amount of hardware at a system and then try to shock everyone how much "faster" it is then a windows vista/7 machine...

WOW, if I had 8 gigs of ram and a quadcore i'll bet XP would run really freaking fast too...

and whats up with openCL?

im rather disappointed in the new phone..only reason i would get the 3gs is because they dont have the 3g in 16 GB no more....im going to weigh my options with the pre first b4 i spring for a contract with either one
