I know EVENTUALLY it will be jailbroken... just worried it's gonna take quite a while. I want this new iPhone badly, but not unless its jailbroken - mainly for theming purposes since theming has become my newest past-time, stress reliever, and creative output.

I am sure they will. With all the apps that have been bought and then you switch to new iPhone and all the money you spent is gone? Think of all the people that would be pissed. Apple has even sent emails to devs that they should make sure the apps that they developed will work on 3.0, and also apple says they should work the same but to test them on 3.0 to be sure or they will get pulled from the appstore if they do not work on 3.0.
