I put all 10 movies purchased on itumes on my 16gb iphone and erased my library and will erase my apps. I found handbrake and diskutility effective ways to get movies on my mac. I am not dealing with the headache.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll wait for the official release of 3.0 and word from the dev-team saying it's a go. And maybe by then Jay will have Cydia and Winterboard working properly. Thanks again!!

Does it affect syncing with previously jailbroken devices? It seems like it does not, but it would be nice to have a confirmation

i'm with marcoiac...

i'm currently running JB 2.2.1 OS on my iPhone and am wondering what "downfalls" i'd run into by updating to iTunes 8.2...

if someone can shed some light for us "in the dark" we'd appreciate it!!!

If you want to be safe you should never update until the Dev-Team say it's safe to do so.

ITunes is Working NOW

I fixed the problem. Noticed that I was running iTunes 8.02.2, so I reloaded 8.02.1 over it, which wiped out 8.02.2... now iTunes is working again and I have a working jailbroken iPhone running OS 3.0 ...(I selected repair when I ran the iTunes setup file.)

This thread is about 8.2 vs 8.1.1, you mention 8.02.2 and 8.02.1, you probably typed the wrong numbers, can you clarify?
