32 GB iPhone Advertised, 16 GB iPhone Reaches End of Life

T-Mobile Austria made a mistake today with a listing for a 32 GB iPhone on their website (image above). Just more confirmation that the next generation iPhone will be available with extra memory. The T-Mobile web crew probably was preparing their system for the 32 GB option and accidentally set it for live. After the error was discovered it was quickly corrected.
In other iPhone size news the 16 GB iPhone has reached the end of its life according to an internal email sent out to Vodafone Australia employees (image below). While this isn't unexpected - the current iPhone 3g is at the end of its life - it is strange that the 8 GB model isn't mentioned. It should be at the end of the current 8 GB iPhone's life as well. Could we be seeing only 8 GB and 32 GB iPhone options come June/July?

Yes!
Absolutely Lovely! With all the features of the 3.0 software.... 32GB is needed. Turn-by-turn navigation and maps alone seem to render the 8GB model obsolete...

I dont think this confirms anything at all, a lot of people are very quick to jump to conclusion. For all we know it could be a simple typo.Is there a possibility ? yes, but definitely not confirmed just by that

What did apple order 100,000,000 16 and 32 gig hdd for then if they are not going to use the 16 gig in the new iPhone then? Maybe the netbook?
(yes that's one hundred million not a typo)

This time last year we had a dramatic price drop to sell remaining inventory ready for the announcement in June + release in July of a new iPhone.
Sizes jumped from 4/8gb to 8/16gb. Size this time will jump from 8/16gb to 16/32gb unless they are keeping the 8gb as a budget entry model and 32gb as the pro, but i think the 8gb will become obsolete soon aswell.
It is called a product life cycle in the world of Apple, and the iPhone 3G's life is effectively over now.
Im just hoping for an early July release rather than later, and will be interesting tos ee what they will offer for people already in a 3G contract seeing as the 3G iPhone was priced up subsidized in an 18/24 month contract scenario - can't see them letting anyone upgrade without paying full ££££ for the phone itselfThe Original Autobot of MMiJesus couldn't turn into a fire engine
