I gave my phone with TV on it, which I bought a couple of years ago, to my daughter. TV on phones comes in various flavours, none of which are compatible with each other or the TV you get at home and all of which are chargeable by the network.

I have had lots of phones on lots of platforms and have no loyalty to Apple, as soon as I find something better I will jump ship and my contract is not tioed to my handset but IMHO there is nothing better out there.

Despite it's flaws, many of which will be addressed with FW3.0 the only thing that will challenge the iPhone 3G is the new iPhone and I can't see anything on that that will make me upgrade, for me the form facter and hardware of the 3G are pretty much ideal. More storage and a better camera would be nice, but not worth me swapping my 3G for and there's nothing else I want.

how can they give sessions and labs of hardware if they didn't present it at the WWDC:@:@ im very upset i buy the tickets to go there, and now they will not show it

Apple have not announced any new Hardware so if they do have any labs of Hardware (they all look like s/ware to me - and they have announced FW3.0) then the hardware labs will be on the existing Hardware. What made you think any different?

Has anyone thought of the idea that they unveil a new iphone and all of 3.0 but they dont release it till like July 7th? I mean thats how they did it last year kinda....Makes sense since wwdc is in 24 days and i haven't heard of shipments yet and they started unloading their old stock almost a month ago. Maybe im just being optimistic but maybe because of Jobs condition he wont unveil the new iphone and make a special conference when he is back and wow he drops this new apple tablet pc everyone's been hearing about, isnt he supposed to be working on that primarily....But then again apple always seems to pull some shady stuff but it would be wise of them to tell people about the new iphone 2 weeks before summer starts (officially) then it goes on sale 2 weeks after summer starts....seems smart on apple's part dont ya think....let everyone know then they save up money and have this huge release during a recession for a good price then the end of summer when everyone goes back to school they drop the tablet pc....like i said maybe im just dreaming.

bottom line Apple does not really care about the people. They know they hooked you and they know you will just wait. I don't care who show off the iphone. The company is more then one person. i know he is old and all but its like apple is like we will wait for him, type of thing. i feel for him but, apple should look at whats best for them. The other American company that sell the phones that is are at the same lvl now and moving past them. 2year contracts are coming up and why go for another 2 years for a newer phone with all the same stuff really. Its like buying a car. first new style and then buying the same style but differnet made date.

i still use the 2g 8mb i love it and i didnt upgrade do to the 2 year hook. plus i was holding out to see this new toy.

I just think that they going to say that they not show it off. then Poof they show it. and it be better then ever. But who really knows. one time will tell so d-day june7

very true jobs form...it will be a disappointment if not done by steve this year....phil is just way to boring and will never be able to fill that spot

lol...everyone is ridin steve jobs d1ck hard right now! why would you honestly care who shows us the phone? its going to be the same phone no matter who shoes it...youll still find out what you want, no matter who shows it...i could care less if steve, jesus, or 50 cent showed us the phone...i just want a reason to upgrade, a price, and a release date...idc who gives me the facts...

honest question to everyone who so desperately wants steve to announce the phone...WHY DO YOU CARE IF HE DOES IT OR NOT?...i really would like to understand...am i missing somethin?
