OK so this has to be some sort of joke right... Why am I getting the following error "This application is not compatible with this iPhone" when trying to purchase Slingplayer from iTunes????

If I went to another country (or state) and had a box at my house I could still watch t.v. from my phone

Yes, all you need is a slingbox, and internet connection.
(no monthly fees)

The slingbox can either tune in analog tv directly, or control your cable/satellite tv box. Slingbox uses a "pass through" system so slingbox can encode what your tv see's at the same time. An IR cable is how slingbox controls your cable/satellite box. If you want HD (16:9) you need to get the HD Pro, if not get the cheaper standard one. (4:3)

That is correct. The beauty of the internet

Assuming you are unlocked and have a data plan for that other country otherwise your bill could be crazy huge to use on 3G

Is that gonna be a probleM?

he means the iphone being unlocked. if you are in the states your fine as long as you dont go over the cap which is pretty high around 5gb i believe. if you go to another country you will want to have your iphone unlocked and be on a provider from that country with a data plan unless you want to stay on at&t overseas and pay like a million dollars lol in data fees

No it will not be. Only if you plan on traveling around the world then you will be limited to wifi only unless you unlock.
