PF,
It says that the WiFi must be turned ON (but you do not need a WiFi Network) in oder for this to work. I think it is basically doing the triangulation
using a DB that is LEARNING as it goes on their server and just putting your location on a Goggle Map for that location.
Maybe it will be possible in the future to go over the phone line itself to do this.

WAAAAY off
I live on Long Island, New York and it positioned me in Greensboro, NC on WiFi. When on Edge, it can't triangulate dookie.
Umm, within the same state would be nice.

got a wifi lock at my house (but had to walk outside to do it)but no cell lock.

Mine worked but the location it found was a few streets from where I really was. Not bad.

worked 100% to the dot earlier at work. Doesn't even get a signal or whatever now that I'm home though

Im in nyc on at&t it works fine with wifi.. but i get an error if i try edge no cell nodes in range
