so no way to just unlock the 2.2 software i have on the phone? Is it just the Baseband that is killing it? from letting me use this sim? because i have yellowsnow downloaded

use a sim adapter if you haven't upgraded to 3.0 till it comes out.

I mean it can't be done.

Short of finding the guy in Vietnam that can take out the NOR chip and reprogram it you can not downgrade your BB.
