Cydia 3.0 is finally here! New QuickPwn with Cydia Released (For All Devices)

I just hope winterboard gets ported as well... Specially with that desing they are moving the iPhone into have you guys noticed how the new 3.0 icons look so dark and evil specially with the black desktop background. I dont know who Apple hired to do their design this time....

i know this has been asked already but does WinterBoard work yet? i really want it to work. i seriously hate the way the iphone looks. its so boring and plain. can any please let me know? i made a new theme and im waitng for WinterBoard to work so that i can add it in.

I wish the usual 2.x apps worked, like Qik & Winterboard. Any word on those?

@ Treble--No, Winterboard doesn't work yet. I got as far as installing it, and then when I was prompted for the reboot I got stuck on the black Apple boot screen.

No, It was there before the jailbreak.

You have to go to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app and open the .plist file that starts with M68xxx (it should look something like that). Then add a new "dictionary" or whatever for "gas-gauge-battery" and set it to true.

Then go to Settings>General>Usage and you'll see a nice Battery Percentage toggle.

Mine had the battery percentage from the start. It defaulted to that, I didn't even change anything about the battery in the settings.

No, no, NO! Don't upgrade it, your phone will lose it's current unlock solution.

You'll be waiting until the Dev Team finds a new exploit for the baseband that 3.0 will end up with (once it goes public in the next couple months or so). Currently, Beta 4 and above is only available to legit carrier users, as well as those that have officially unlocked phone.

how is it that 3.0 jailbreak is out and the official apple 3.0 firmware is not?......is this the official jailbreak from the dev team. If not I'll wait, better yet I'll wait tip the official firmware comes out b/c who knows what even new features they will have, that this beta 5 don't have

No, this is not the official jailbreak...It's a patched version of QuickPwn with the new Cydia that saurik recently ported for OS 3.0...He didn't want to lose out to Icy like Installer did to Cydia.
