Downgrade 3G Baseband from 2.30 to 2.28

Also..its better to pull out your SIM CaRD before doing it..if Any call comes in during the process it may interrupt of do something..meanwhile in the process I don1t think there will be any signal

The dev team says I should have 5.8 (I bought the 3G the day it was released), but doing the commands it says I have a 5.9. I am going to try it anyway after downgrading from 3.0.

ughh lemme clarify the post.... it ONLY works on iphone 3G with bb 2.30. if you upgraded to 3.0 you will fail and there is no gaurantee that it is even safe to use if you have that bb.

I got everything working except I'm little confused. Are you supposed to enter the "cd / Applications..." part into minicom in at+xgendata because when I do that it says undefined. When I do it without minicom I also get same error?

Your post is a little confusing. So all I do is "cd Applications/phasebanddowngrader" or Do i completely take out cd? Thanks.

*Also do I do this in minicom with at+xgendata?

Actually I am surprised that this script doesn't automatically run the commcenter unload script before it runs.
