Widgets on iPhone?!

Scenario Poker works but you have to scroll around a bit. It would be great if there was a landscape mode.

Are you able to download widgets from apple.com and install them on your iphone? If so, how? If not, then how do i get widgets to work on iphone?

you can download them from there but not all work, actually not very many at all.

Yea scenario poker works but very slow and its anoying. so we will just have to wait for this to get a little beter, but it is a really cool "concept"

What are you talking about, The only function of squid is to change permissions...

Here is a squid visual guide.

The first (1) image is what shows up when you select a file.

You then select the three (3) "Exec" boxes like the second (2) image.

Next you select the "Apply" Button and the Permissions are set like in image three (3).

Finally you select the "Files" button at the top to go back so you can continue doing these steps to the rest of the files.

thank you, that's what I needed to know. People say you change the number to like 0775 or whatever. So my question really was how to do that since you can not change the number directly. In your example you changed by clicking .exe the number from 420 to 493. So I guess you can not change the number however you want.
That raises another question: how do you know which number a permission needs to have?

My Chuck Norris Widget is the only that works goodd... anyone have luck with others?

Manually created the directory tree and IBrickr'ed files. Chmodded everything 755.

I got the Football widget in the menu (along with football icon). Clicked to open widget and half a green football pitch appeared. Nothing else.

Anybody putting these widgets in the installer for automatic installation (the ones that do seem to work anyways)?

works like a charm. i tried the chuck norris widget (works, but needs scrolling), stary night (not working) and day in history (not working). i did nothing with permissions or ****. i started winscp, copied the files and thats it

Note: If two of your three download's DON'T work, then it probably doesn't "work like a charm"

Thought I'd try winscp (maybe I was missing something by doing it manually), but still got the same problem with the 'Football' widget.

I'll try another one.
