exciting... I hope ATT isn't stupid with this and make us buy a totally separate MMS plan

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

Ok but does that mean the 3.0 firmware will allow the iPhone to read different video formats or does it convert it automatically(which is less likely cuz just the time to transfer the video over the 3G network will take time and that is unconvenient) or does At&t has a special server to convert the videos for the iPhone?
It's really not clear.

Finally a good time to own an iPhone and not have a crippled technically advanced cell phone. LOL
Is it me or is the PLAY symbol not centered on the video item.

No magic iPhone, no calls to AT&T... I used this method (http://www.modmyi.com/forums/t/51047...ml#post3455321) about a month ago when I was trying to get SwirlyMMS to work. It was working great with Swirly until I upgraded to 3.0b1, then I was only able to recieve MMS (with Messaging App, of course). Once I upgraded to 3.0b2, I was then able to send and recieve MMS and still am. I can also confirm that video works great, I had my bro-in-law send me a video from his Samsung phone earlier.

I believe it was stated that mms could be sent in the normal text app (which I think is now called messages)
And I can't see why mms wouldn't work on every gen iphone. I mean, what hardware update was in the 3g that the 2g doesn't have that could allow for mms? Nothing I know of.
