SlingBox's SlingPlayer submitted to AppStore

Back at MacWorld, we chatted with the guys over at SlingMedia about their upcoming plans for an iPhone release of their SlingPlayer.
They've just announced they've submitted the app to the AppStore, and we're all now just waiting for approval. We've learned by now that Apple's approval process is about as predictable as the next episode of LOST, but here's hoping the app will be approved within the week or so.
I know I've been excited about shredding through some 3G network to catch up on 24 while I'm away from home.
For those of you who don't know - SlingMedia retails the SlingBox, a device which lets you watch your DVR and cable TV from any browser on supported platforms (including OS X and Windows, sure) and many smart phones as well.

Ive got 2 networks in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs, and 2 sky boxes.
Ive got a slingbox on each network from the downstairs/upstairs skybox.

Can I hookup a SlingBox to a Windows Vista Media center? I used to be able to use Orb with iPhone OrbCast. Recently Microsoft changed the media center recording format from .DVR-MS to .WTV and we can no long stream or play recordings on another computer/device. (so orb doesnt work any more!)
I'm hoping maybe SlingBox can? If so I'll buy one once the iPhone app is out !

Do you think its will really get approved or do you think it will get shot down like Starplayr?? Because i bought a slingbox and i have a 30 day return policy at bestbuy and i only have 2 days left the only reason i bought it was for the iPhone app?

Why would it get approved? Its an app that everyone wants, and its useful. I dont think that could possibly fall into the approved category from apple.

i hope this makes it through cuz i thought that uverse thing seemed like apple about to shut sling out and figure a way to make it more profitable for themselves...similar to the podcasting debacle. ive had my slingbox since 06 and walking with my toes crossed has begun to hurt.
