Not so sure
Um maybe I'm missing something but on Zodttd's version I can access and play all six episodes. Just tested it out actually. So yeah... Seems like the same game to me. On another note I was so happy to see this game ported!!! So many memories. I remember playing this on Windows 3.1 with 16 mb of ram. Hahaha what a joke. But seriously great work developers.

Wolfenstein: Father of the modern FPS shooter. Ahh the memories
I'll have to pick this one up.
Honestly though, my first real FPS experience was Doom on my parents' 486. Any good, playable iPhone Doom ports out there while we're talking about iD?

I'm having the same problem with it not booting up, it crashes after the first few seconds

Same problem here. Crashes after showing the splash screen for a second or two. After reading Carmack's blog post, I'd buy this game but not if it's not stable. Anybody have a fix and/or is anybody having this problem with the Appstore version?

game works fine here, even better than on my 386 with 8mb ram back in the days :-)
btw, it's the full game, episode 1-6 and they're all working

Doesn't work
Seriously. Crashes in less than 5 seconds on my 3G 2.2... Removed it, installed again, restarted the damn thing, no luck. Any advice?
Another thing, the app store version has 30 reviews so far, perfect 5 stars rating. Funny, ae?

Runs fine on 3.0 - the AppStore version.

Just so people are aware, the crash is related to the addition of the Mobclix (analytics software) I added. This type of crash is affecting only some jailbroken users, and I'm not sure why yet. If those dealing with the crash would like to help me debug this, make sure the following directory exists and has permissions set to 777 (chmod)...
/var/mobile/Documents/
If there are any mobciix.db or mobclix.db files in place, just delete them.
Then try running it again and let me know if it works.
The bug seems to have something to do with the Documents directory being shared by all apps on jailbroken devices, instead of individual Document directorys in the AppStore sandbox. It may have to do with the SQL Lite library as well. Still determining why.
If you are one of the handful of people who it crashes on and you can't wait, the AppStore version will work fine for you.
Thanks,
ZodTTD

Mine was crashing like a good un.
Set /var/mobile/Documents/ to 777 (it was 755) and it now works
Haven't played this for a long time, I could be gone some time.....He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
