the funny thing about all that ******** is that you are still with them. Unlock your phone and switch. Then you can see if all of your complaining is truely an AT&T issue, or just cellular limits in general. In my experience AT&T has by long and far the best service in all of the areas that I use my phone.

SLide out keyboard is pointless!!
I can type faster than on a buttoned phone and can virtually type without looking at the screen!

I second that! The iPhone works quite well for me with Telstra in Australia. Tried it for a while with a Vodafone SIM and it failed with crap reception and dropped calls. So...... I don't know what people's experience with AT&T is like in the US but it's not the hardware and it's pointless to blame the hardware.

I don't understand why loads of people are going that it would be stupid for Apple to release an iPhone this year. Why not relese one????
If you haven't figured out, Apple are releasing an iPhone very year like they do with most of their other products.
I hope Apple release a new iPhone year and hope that all you 3G users that are tied to an 18 month contract can not upgrade so you have to take another 18 month contract out!!!! That would make my day as there's loads of people saying that we don't a need a new iPhone, Apple should concentrate on 3.0 and would be "foolish" of them to release a new iPhone, etc.
Thank you O2 for offering a pay as you go version of the 3G and hopefully the 3rd gen aswell, so I never have to get an iPhone on contract unless O2 bring back 12 month contracts!!

Maybe the $99 notebook and the new iphone are the same? Maybe the new iPhone can be carried as a stand alone then you dock it into the $99 notebook (which has a keyboard and a bigger screen?) and the iPhone turns into the notebook's CPU, Memory and communication platform.

ur an idiot
I hate physical keyboards for sliding out just to type "LOL" or "on my way". I hate touch screen for typing paragraphs. You need both on a phone...great physical keyboard & amazing touch screen one. That way you have a vertical keyboard, horizontal, and slide out. win.
no it will be some BS netbook from some off brand.Last edited by Garage Battle; 03-24-2009 at 06:28 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Guess I am too then

It is a personal choice. I'd much rather have a smaller form factor without a keyboard than a bigger one with a keyboard.
Others prefer a physical keyboard which is why there have been rumours of 2 new iPhones, one with and one without a keyboard.
I somehow doubt this will happen but I could be wrong. He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

@Captain Chaos - if you do buy silent revolt's phone you will have to sign a legally binding agreement that you will never show it to anyone.
Or actually use it.

how about the COLOR of the new iphone??? I know some may find this silly but I still have my 2G original iphone (jailbroken of course) but only because I am waiting on a PINK color option. Yeah I'm a spoiled princess. But reaaly though, this can't be to much of a stretch for apple to accomodate us girls!! Anyone out there heard some hints of what this one's options will be???
