I can't get my damn phone to activate, therefore I can't get the credit. The activation screen never comes up in iTunes no matter what I do (even after restoring). I have no problem signing a two-year plan but as of right now it is SIM card unlocked so I can use it.

Anyone know how I can activate my phone legitimately? I have tried going to the Apple Store, the AT&T Store, and calling both support numbers many times. Could a previous unlocked keep some files on the iPhone to keep it unlocked even after restoring?

I was excited about the refund by now all these stipulations and the fact that I can not use it in iTunes is a bummer. It is nice to get the credit but obviously they only want you to purchase things they make good margins on.

Just got my $100 Gift card from apple.

Works with unlocked phones also. Dont know what the othe poster was talking about. However I did sign a 2 two year contract with ATT on iDay.

Saving mine for LEOPARD!!!! =)

Works on unlocked iPhones, yes, but NOT if you don't have AT&T.
