I wish they would just hurry up and come out with it. I would pay 19.99 for this app right now.

I'm not trying to be "know it all", but I am a Moderator of NiceMac and Geekstoolbox (the sites involved).
uSirius RC8 is NOT a StreamSmart client, therefore not affected by the server shutdown.
Although, Sirius XM has been "updating" their servers over the last week preparing for the 128K only stream. No one knows which apps will work when they "flip the switch."
Jailbreakers don't pay and there are server costs, so no Cydia release.

No cost, but I'd donate if this app actually existed on my iPhone... GRR! I am just so livid right now with you, Starplayr!
You don't have to lie to kick it.

uSirius, uXM, and uSirius StarPlayr Retired
Sun, 03/08/2009 - 21:23 — jsm174
Today, I have some sad news.
By the time you read this, many of you already know that uSirius StarPlayr for the iPhone project has been retired.
Unfortunately, the same is being done to the standalone uSirus and uXM PC applications. Effective immediately, March 8th, 2009, both applications have been discontinued and will no longer be available for download. I regret having to do so, but it is in the best interest of Millard Software.Last edited by GreggSymington; 03-10-2009 at 08:37 PM. Reason: updated info

Good news!
Can I play Sirius Satellite Radio on Pocket Tunes Radio?
You can now play Sirius Satellite Radio via Pocket Tunes Radio app.
As of version 5.2 of Pocket Tunes Radio, you can play Sirius Internet Radio. They added support for Web-based stations and this allows you to play stations that normally require you to be using a PC rather than a mobile device.
Here are the steps to do that:
**Note: You must have a paid subscription to Sirius Internet Radio to use this with Pocket Tunes Radio
1. Go to the "Web" tab in Pocket Tunes Radio and enter www.sirius.com
(** Canadian Sirius customers, the Canadian page, www.sirius.ca does not display properly on the iPhone/touch. Go to the bottom of the screen and tap "Site Map in the lower right)
2. Tap on "Media Player" at the top of the screen
(**Canadian Sirius customers tap "Listen Online" in the site map)
3. You will then get the login screen
- Enter the username and password you use to access your Sirius channels on-line.
- Enter the appropriate security characters and tap "Sign In"
- If you get a generic message like "Sorry and error has occurred", try the login again, making sure you are entering the correct user, password and security answer.
- If you get locked out by Sirius, please see this Knowledge Base article.
4. You are then taken to the top level listing of the Sirius stations available on-line.

Works great and worth the price of the app. I get no buffering errors with this at all on 3g. Its way better than streaming from home via Orb for me. It also saves your login and favorites so you dont have to login every time.. Now judt of backrounder worked on 3.0
