Apple and Adobe Not Working Together for Flash

AS expected and falling right in line with the Adobe and iPhone flash over-hype schedule we have more news concerning iPhone flash from Adobe!

On Tuesday an Adobe spokeswomen first refused to comment when asked for confirmation whether or not Apple and Adobe are really working together to bring flash to the iPhone. The question was prompted by Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen saying that "It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating," a couple weeks ago which implied that Apple and Adobe were working together to make the flash happen.

The Adobe spokeswoman did give out a few statements that imply the exact opposite of Adobe CEO Narayen's statements. She said "We think Flash availability on the iPhone benefits the millions of joint Apple and Adobe customers, and we want to work with Apple to bring these capabilities to the device," which of course basically says Apple is not working with Adobe. We want = we would like to = we are hoping sometime in the future we will be. If they were working together wouldn't the Adobe representative said something more along the lines of "we are working with apple?"

Result: Adobe an Apple are not working together to bring flash to the iPhone. We already assumed as much. This should be no surprise.

It may sound like that, but maybe Adobe have something but Apple are just unwilling to split the difference on the OS.

figures, apple needs to get off there high horse and start opening up on some iPhone coolness.i mean it's already cool and it would be waaay better if they would allow projects like this.could you imagine if they allowed jailbreaking? i've found this iPhone isn't haven't as cool as i have gotten it now (since i've jailbreaked) and none of which came from apple except that it's an iPod. if it wasn't it'd just be a phone.like a B Berry Storm. haha

IDK what the hell is up with all you flash fanboys, do you just want to view some of your favorite porn sites or something on your iPhone? I hate flash and hope it stays off the iPhone, all it seems to be good for is really annoying adds and resource hogging videos/games.

flash isnt just used for porn. Actually a lot of websites that my professors use have flash that makes it impossible for me to access on my iphone. And in case you havent noticed not all online videos are available on youtube so if i wanna catch the news on the go im ******....

besides who wants to watch porn on their phone? Thats just wierd.

how do you know porn sites use flash anyway?... of course everyone hates those myspace ads and annoying things like that, which makes it obivous flash wouldn't be useful to everyone nor would everyone like it same goes with everything.with that being said, you can't rule out that other people might like things that you don't for reasons you might not even know about or understand. does't mean we surf porn on our iPhone.

I don't know, man. I would want to have Flash so I can go to the Newgrounds website and watch videos there on my iPod touch. I guess my hopes are shattered, but it's not surprising.

After carefully examining, decoding, translating, and comparing the quote with my Spokesperson quote database, I have come to the conclusion that the supplied quote means the exact opposite of what you are saying it means.
