Adobe blah blah Flash blah blah something with Apple

Once again there is rampant grass-fire-like news across the web that Adobe and Apple are working together to bring flash in all of its glory to the iPhone. This is thanks to Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen saying "It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating," going further to say, “The ball is in our court. The onus is on us to deliver.”
I'm sort of bored of this Adobe bringing flash can't bring flash working with Apple not working with Apple Steve hates flash news. Hopefully this time is different but history solidly shows Adobe has a lot of /say/ with very little /do/ on the matter of iPhone flash.
BTW read that the Adobe CEO said it's a "hard technical challenge." That's CEO for we may or may not release such a thing

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

I don't really care much about flash, what I'm looking foward to really is A2DP, then my life will be complete
How can a Sidekick have A2DP, but an iPhone not? Ridiculous.

Hopefully it will be compatible with iPod Touch. Cydia flash is kind of limited.

This is being asked ALL the time and I basically just tell everyone to goto Apple - Feedback - submit a ticket and hopefully it will go through to our devs to get it working on.
Hope this helps to spread it on to our Corp Office for further construction.

Just a thought....
So i really don't know how far away they are from developing flash but what if (what if) apple is holding on f/w 2.3 to include flash? think about it, they released 2.2.1 with crap fixes and it makes sense that 2.3 will include a better updates and fixes? and again this is just a thought...

I doubt it, Apple hasn't released basically anything anyone has asked for in their software updates. Besides the year-late AppStore, apple never delivers with iPhone/touch updates. They'll probably say they've fixed safari another 12 times before they add anything useful

Well, the last time I read something about this, Adobe's ceo, Shantanu Narayen, had said they had it up and running and were waiting for apples approval. Now, they are saying that production is hindered because its "hard." Meh, maybe they'll get their $#!t together when the iPhone 4H comes out.

"Some great technical challenge?" WTF is that? We are putting flash on a cellphone, not sending someone to Mars. No copy/paste, no MMS, no flash, no video recording. Get used to it folks.
Personally, I dont mind the absence of flash, not a big deal to me. What I do mind, on the other hand, is being teased with it. Oh you'll have flash soon, wait, NVM, wait you're gonna have flash soon, were working reeeeal hard I promise.
