Daeken, Darkmen, guest184, gray, iZsh, pytey, roxfan, Sam, uns, Zappaz, Zf, plus Nightwatch for the toolchain were responsible for this, and it is HERE! WHA HOO!
I have updated the guide to reflect the new GUI app for unlocking, it is much easier. Link updated in this post. It is here.
If you would like your voicemail to keep working correctly, follow this guide. NOTE: This already works with carriers who's name shows up in the top of the iPhone, namely, T-Mobile.

It is for real, but it seems that no one knows how to install it. Its not a .app or anything, its a binary file. My mac reads it as an mpeg-1 video file but i know its not. So now we have the download, HOW DO WE INSTALL IT?? haha
