Isn't iNdependence for Mac only? Im on Vista. I restored the phone through itunes, though now, when i connect it to itunes it just comes up with an error saying the iPhone can't be used with iTunes because a sim card is not installed. I took out the sim because im following the steps for the window's tutorial, but when i put the sim card in, it just wants to activate it through AT&T. I'm don't think it updated the firmware, since iTunes just said it could'nt connect to the updating server and it just showed "?"'s next to he iPhone's information.
I'm on Step 2, I've extracted iBrickr and the iphone unlock files into 2 seperate folders and ran iBrickr. In the tutorial it says that in iBrickr, to click on Files in the iPhone screen on the right, but all it says is that the iPhone must be freed and a button to free my iphone.
