If you wish to only jailbreak and not unlock just update to 2.2.1 with itunes then download the new version of quickpwn and you're good to go...thats what i just finished doing.

This is a Quickpwn for Windows thread. Please do not request custom firmwares... start a new thread for that in the pwnage section.

Just jailbroke 2.2.1 and was wondering what is the memory usage when you connect your iPhone to iTunes under "Other" (orange colored). Mine is at 548.5mb is this normal? Total capacity is 14.64gb.

Ok, not sure if this is the right place to post this but, i'm tired of us windows users getting the raw end of everything! So, from the bottom of my heart, this is a link to A CUSTOM MADE IPHONE 3G 2.2.1 FIRMWARE for windows users made with pwnage tool http://www.demonoid.com/files/downlo...780774/3100888 enjoy and seed afterwards.

So I've been doing this online thing for a while now called Swagbucks and there's so much i can say about it. You basically get "swagbucks" for using their search engine and you can use the swagbucks to buy stuff off their website. I was skeptical cause i thought i had to pay for it but you dont! you pay with swagbucks!
i guess they can give out free stuff cause of the advertising they get on the page but still its FREE!
If youre worried about the search power dont worry cuase this page is powered by Google so you get the same searches.
Its totally legit too! i won't post it on here if it wasn't. there's even an authorized facebook page for it too
the way you get swagbucks is kind of a surprise raffle sorta thing . once you search at a right time they set for someone to win, you win a swagbuck! or even 2 or 5 or 10 or 100 or 50! its crazy
Thats the best way i can explain it.
some tips to get the most swagbucks:
--i set the swagbuck page as my homepage and took out the addressbar on my brower and replaced it with a search bar
Thats how I got so many swagbucks. Once you get the amount u want, you can use them to buy stuff on their Swagstore
Ive been using it for almost a year now and had enough for an iPhone!!!
it got a fricken iPhone for free! it came in the mail about 3 weeks after i ordered it with my swagbucks !
PM me if you have any questions.
If you want to, check it out on this link so we can be friends on it!

Did you press update in itunes when u upgraded to 2.2.1? If so, you will lose about 500mb of data due to the way cydia moves apps around and the new firmware is installed.
You are meant to do a complete restore and install before jailbreaking to avoid this happening. If you go from 2.0 - 2.2 - 2.2.1 by pressing update instead of restore u will lose 500mb each time.

Use aptbackup, it's simple and quick. Download it before updating and have it scan your phone, download it after updating and run it and it will download all your cydia apps for you. It doesn't actually back anything up, it simply makes a list of apps you have installed from cydia and downloads that list of apps again. I'm not sure if it does that with sources too though.
