actually, people say its more stable, so i think it IS worth the hassle. people have trouble with their 128kb SIMs since the yellowsn0w update, though...

Just ran Pwnage on my 3G iPhone on a Mac with all relevant software updated. I'm a legit AT&T user...

The process went fine, except I no longer have phone service. Everything else is ok.

Any suggestions?

has anyone used this unofficial version of quickpwn? does it work? is it worth using it for the firmware update?
From what i have read, the update doesnt seem too important so I could wait for the official dev team release.

Alexcutter: you used PwnageTools right? afterwards, make sure you download the update for yellowsn0w (if you have a 3g). if you DONT have a 3g, you should flash your iphone 2g clean with 2.2.1 and rejailbreak.

Thanks, but it's working now.

I restored back to default settings, then ran Pwnage Tool a second time, this time not in "expert" mode. Fixed the problem.

3 lines down it says

That is it right there. I am also having problems as a legit at&t user getting a signal. Anyone else and if so, without having to use yellowsn0w, what can I do? Thanks!

That is not a custom firmware that is just 2.2.1
