iPhone 2.2.1 Software Update

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
• Improved general stability of Safari
• Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll

Products compatible with this software update:
• iPhone
• iPhone 3G

And as always...

DON'T UPGRADE IF YOU'RE JAILBROKEN/UNLOCKED UNTIL IT CAN BE JAILBROKEN ETC ETC

I love right when my iPhone is at that Godly level and they come out with a new update!!...Anyone kno easy ways to update but keep all your apps, themes, etc

It just came out. You're going to have to wait a little bit. Same procedures fore backing up stuff to get ready for the upgrade should apply (AptBackup/AppBackup/etc)

Disabling javascript&plug-ins makes Safari super-awesomely stable and as fast as the commercials. If only they made it that fast WITH javascript at least and as stable : \

WAIT FOR THE JAILBREAK!

2.2.1 UPDATES THE BASEBAND:

Before the update i have: 02.28.00

After the update: 02.30.03

THEREFORE, NO 3G UNLOCK!

It doesn't exactly seem a 'must have' upgrade - I'll wait until I can YellowSn0w it but am in no rush.

Trip Update: Straight Upgrade from jailbroken phone. Lost Cydia/jailbroken apps as expected, though the numeric battery (and toggle back to the regular) still works, awesome.

Everything else feels the same. Quickpwn gives a string error when trying to load the new Firmware so wait if you want to stay jailbroken.
