5 Pencils + 4 Rubber Bands = Your New iPhone Stand

I'm always bugged by the fact that my $29 iPhone 3G dock doesn't let me set the thing landscape.

Some guy named Roland devised a high-tech stand using 5 pencils and 4 rubber bands to watch his iPhone movies and such. A clever little creation indeed. You never know, this may even work with pens.

Of course there's no nifty built-in charger for this stand, but at the low price of $1.12, I'm sure you can finagle some way to make it happen.

Oh my God!!! I have my own little set up somewhat like this at work...I will post that pic tomorrow when I get there..hahahah I thought I was the only one who made some stuff up like that hahahaa

i've got one even better than that!! when im at work...all i do is stick the iphone in a business card holder (landscape) and prop it up on an elevated calculator face which puts it on a slight lean and then i can lean back and watch movies very comfortably!! hahaha

I just prop mine up against my OJ bottle in class so I can watch movies instead of paying attention to the lecture. It suffices

Ah but with a 3.8 GPA, I'm really not that worried

Plus, I'm on an athletic scholarship...so my grades have to stay up else I lose it
