I've got a mini easel came with mini canvas. I bought it because that was kinda cute
Then I thought, "wow this can be ... "
Now it's my iPhone stand, not easel anymore

After seeing this stand, it reminded me of the awesome paper clip one. From THAT, I saw gunnysir talk about the lego thing, so I went and found some legos and made myself a pretty nice stand.

2 8-dot pieces
4 4-dot pieces
The 4-dot blue pieces are for carpet support lol
Optional are 2 2-dot pieces on the other end of the red pieces...Last edited by ajl917; 01-24-2009 at 12:02 PM.

Sorry, but this is retarded. It's not news, it is nice but it is not news. New info about redsn0w is news. A story of how a guy made a lame iPhone holder; not news.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

Hey, this design would look pretty nice using thin bamboo instead of pencils. Hmmm, might have to try that. Thanks.

What!?!? They're not the Faber Castells??!?! I just ordered 500 of them to market these stands now I have to cancel the order and order the Staedtlers instead! I can't believe it!
Ahem.. sorry about that
On a more important note, I would like to know why the gentleman who created the paperclip stand decided that bending a paperclip in 6 places deemed not only a complete photographic/written instruction manual complete with progress photos but also a YouTube video on how it could be done. I think I speak for all of us when I say that if we are capable of modifying a minicomputer such as the iPhone and making it look completely different from the factory then we can probably look at a single picture of a bent paperclip and make the bends ourselves without visual aids or videos.
But I could be wrong ::dodgy::
