The only reason I bother with the updates anymore is because many new apps require the latest firmware version.

1. Landscape mode
2. Fordward sms capability
3. Ability to change from Qwerty layout to normal predictive text format, like on Blackberry Storm

These would be great!!

I know most of these can be covered by 3rd party apps but you have to pay like i did for MySMS

Firmware is released - people go out of their way to find more stupid bugs with the firmware that the average normal person wouldn't find.

They complain.

Apple releases another dump firmware with mainly bug fixes.

2.2 is a solid base. How about we don't try and find flaws with every firmware? Then Apple has no reason to give us lame updates.

And personaly, i won't be happy until they integrate an office application natively on the iPhone that can edit/save/email files. If they want to target the corporate market seriously, this should have been on 2.0.

It is posts and replies like this that get me heated, cause after every firmware is released there are hundreds of lame *** posts from people finding rediculous flaws in new firmwares. Then they turn around and complain about lack of features. Arghhhh

so to all you babies crying out there.....tell me this....other than the corporate user having a better option in the blackberry........whats better out there for the non corporate user? please enlighten us all and then back up your talk by throwing your iPhone in the trash and going out and picking up said phone. we're on an iphone modding site and you're actually ******** about landscape sms? hahahaha....copy and paste has been the only legit complaint i've seen. to the user with the ducktales story.....what are you? 14....you have no clue about business in any sense do you....should they just blow their load in one shot and fix everything? hell no, they'd be drastically shortening the lifespan of their product.....they've got all of you glued to your computer just waiting to see what they will come out with next for how many updates now......thats fing brilliant.
