Another thing that I've noticed is it won't go into coverflow style while on instictive shuffle but it will if I select a single song or artist not a huge deal just thought I'd point it out

I have one bug well dunno if this is a bug but I remember being able to do it back in the 1.4 days. When I hit pause and turn off the iphone and come back and get into the ipod by double tapping the home button, upon hitting play nothing happens. So when going into the iphone app on my home screen it resumes the same "default song" not the one I was playing at the time I hit pause.

That's actually a feature The thing about coverflow is that it shows songs in the order they'll be played. When you're in Instinctiv shuffle mode, the order is unknown since it changes depending on which songs you'll listen to and which songs you'll skip. Consequently, it's not entirely clear what we'd show in coverflow. Additionally, since we don't yet support the ability to seed a mood (at least on the iPhone) skipping to a specific song would essentially confuse the shuffle. Allowing "seeding" is something we've got on the todo list. Unfortunately, every little feature is a hacking battle, so improving existing functionality is a higher priority for the next few weeks. ~ PB

PS: Obviously, when you're not in Instinctiv mode, but say playing a playlist, or a manually chosen song, coverflow works as usual.

I loaded 2.0.9 and when I go into the ipod and hit instictive shuffle i keep getting the error,
Instictiv disabled
Instinctiv Shuffle is still waiting to talk with the
server. Until then, shuffling will be random.
( OK )

Does anyone know how this shuffle knows what song to play and what song to skip? does it figure it out by genre? im curious because i deleted all genres from my itunes library and if that's the case i would be willing to relabel them.

does this run by genre information?

Same here, can't see it and have been waiting since 1.1.4 for it. I went looking yesterday and figured I had missed something as I definitely can't see it in Cydia.

Sorry, not to sound rude but don't you think I tried that already? I have the MMi repository, refreshed the packages and searched on every possible combination and spelling just in case but nothing appears.

I tried that as well. I'm not a noob, Also not to be rude...But if there's another repo that I'm missing that would explain everything. Again I searched that repo but found nothing, is there another repo that I'm missing, or is it not in Cydia? The website states that you can download it from there, however there's no download link available. If anyone knows how to find this I would LOVE if you could PM me Thanks so much in advance!!!

To everyone who can't see our package: we're trying to get to the bottom of this. One question I have is are you running version 2.2 of the iPhone firmware? Instinctiv Shuffle is not available for previous versions.

Hi,

great app, have been waiting for it for age for 2.2

Found a bug:

If you choose all songs (through genres or artist), the ipod app crashes.

Choosing songs will show instinctiv shuffle
Choosing playlist will show normal shuffle

Seems to be consistent in my iphone 3g 2.2
