We will not be providing manual downloads from here, as the files are debian packages anyway - you need debian or Cydia on your iPhone to use them.

Tbis is a major issue and still has not been addressed

If you want to download a theme, download it from Cydia and SSH to your iPhone. Manual install of yellowsn0w is up to the yellowsn0w distributers (the Dev Team).

One feature I would like to see is a small snippet from the packages' description under its name like in cydia. Thanks for your consideration!

That is already there - check uh...
ModMyi.com for instance. Name is bold and in blue, and right underneath is
"Organ is a music player skin created by MaDSouL and ported to 2.2 by NINJ4." which is the description for that package.
Or are you referring to the home page display?

You mean in the multiple view? The problem with thumbnails is we'd have to download every package and assemble a screenshot on the fly - not gonna happen. About the best we can do without you clicking the package (and seeing the screenshot page then) is put icons by each one letting you know what section its in.
I realize now elr0y7 must have been referring to description snippets in the main multiple package listing view - that's a good idea. We'll work on that, which will help as well.
EDIT: all that optimize/unrelated crap is moved to http://www.modmyi.com/forums/site-su...izing-mmi.html
