Try a piggyback SIM - they are not perfect but should enable you to use your phone until something better comes out.

Downgrading from 2.21 to 2.2 is not a problem.
It won't do you any good as it won't downgrade your baseband, so why would you want too?

I just got the iphone from AT&T and the damn thing comes with Modem Firmware 02.30.03

I was able to jailbreak it, so thats great, but then, WHAT IS UP WITH THE UNLOCK, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaassssssssssssseeeeeeeee help.

And my luck, I have USA T-Mobile, great huh.

I've read some pretty bad stuff about those things. I guess they can be glitchy. Anyways, here's to hoping the dev team cracks the baseband on the 3.0 software

My advice is to avoid RebelSIMs like the plague (personal bad experience) - Gevey have had good reviews from people using them in the USA on T-Mobile.

I am sure 3.0 will be cracked shortly after release but, if you want to use your phone for the next 3 months a GevySIM or similar is your only option.

A few people seem to be having problems today. I can see it ok but you are not alone in not being able to find it.

Can somebody help me? I keep getting this error (see attached photo) it is error 21.

I am jailbreaking a iPhone 3G on 2.2 using a Mac. It has never been jailbroken before

and I did not put the phone in DFU mode, it does not recognize through iTunes in DFU mode. So I put it in recovery mode, and that is when I am getting this error
