good luck-
try driving around.
I lost service about a dozen times this morning and saw the push ok to activate sim card message just as many.
My service is shotty at best with the unlock and I dont live in isolation Im in a major city (NY)
btw this is still with att sim card installed, I unlocked just for the hell of it.
and started losing service left and right.
I uninstalled already.
I might even do a restore just to totally wipe this thing from my phone.Last edited by Carrbone; 01-01-2009 at 11:06 AM.

i dont know if this is going to help, but i couldnt get this to work at all on my UK iphone for vodaphone.
What i did was i put the 3rd party sim card in, and when it said it wasnt valid, i put it onto airplane mode, then some weird reason. it found signal and now shows vodaphone.
thanks alot dev team

Your phone has to be jailbroken. If it is, then you will have "Cydia" app.
When you go into the app, goto Manage at the bottom and then "sources", top click "edit" then top click "add"....input the address shown on the first page of this thread. Afterwards, the link to install YellowSnow will be on Cydia.

open up Cydia, at the bottom press the "Manage" button. From there press the word "Sources" now at the top right youll see a button called "edit" press it. Now on the top left you'll see "add" press that. Then type in the Dev's cydia info and click add source. Once you do that press "changes" at the bottom now in the list you should see yellowsn0w near the top.
To find the repo to use go to Dev-Team Blog and scroll down til you see "release info" that is where youll find there cydia information

Unlock works, but can't make calls
So I've gotten everything to work and unlock, but whenever I try to make a call, it loses all bars and I have to wait 1 minutes and re-insert sim. Anyone else having this issue, or have any suggestions?
I'm in T-Mobile USA.

For everyone thus far that can't get it to work PLEASE verify you are at baseband 2.28.00. Even if you're on firmware 2.2 DOUBLE CHECK. Go to settings.. general.. about.. Modem firmware.

01-01-2009, 11:12 AM #95I'm currently jailbroken with ATT officially. Does the bolded part mean I need to rejailbreak and fake activate my phone through Quickpwn in order to unlock and use with Tmobile? The unlock works exclusively with baseband 02.28.00. This baseband is provided by the latest firmware update (2.2) from Apple. You’ll need to upgrade to this release using iTunes and then use QuickPwn to activate etc.

If I have a Jailbroken 2.2 (5G77) iPhone3G with Modem Firmware 1.48.2, is there any way to upgrade Modem Firmware to 2.28.0 without having to restore and re-jailbreak?

I tried typing this source several times and all I get is an error that it cannot find it.
*Edit* After rebooting several times, I was able to get Cydia to take the yellowsn0w url.Last edited by THE TECH; 01-01-2009 at 11:40 AM.
