@franijose. (null)(null) for carrier setting is NOT good. When the phone is really seeing a valid carrier that will not be null. I would suggest looking more closely in that area . . which is required before APN/Edge can work.

Where it reads network it reads tmoble but down where it reads carrier it reads null.

How can I set up as a new phone? evrytime I do the upgrade it tell me the my sim is not valid and i Have to end up unplugin the phone from the computer

everything works for me except edge also.... I have the edge icon on the top corner but when try to connect to anything it says could not activate cellular data...when i go to the vpn its blank. any suggestions?

his problem is that in his cellular data network he needs to put...... epc.tmobile.com in the APN
and leave the user and password blank theres another one but i dont know it

If you have an at&t sim card use it to restore and quickpwn

when you get to the step for installing yellowsn0w put in your t-mobile sim.

If you need an at&t sim you can get one at any at&t store. They should give it to you free if you tell them you need it for your iphone.

have found out that if you change the permissions on the daemon to 777 your at$t sim will work flawlessly

i have let the devs know to add a switch to allow at$t sims to work and when a non at$t sim is inserted it will switch back.

.96 may have a solution built in.

until then just uninstall it or change the permissions to 777

Download the APN settings patch from Cydia. Lets you edit your APN/wap settings.

when i first got 3g phone i had a 10 year old orange true sim card i bought here but it wouldnt work with the turbo sim so i got new 12call (ais)sim thats works with turbo sim.ive just tryed old sim with ys and it works perfect
so a big thumbs up to the team
