Im in the US and tried using my t-mobile sim after installing yellowsn0w. It doesn't work.

Try looking through the last few pages of the thread, and you will probably find an answer...

I try here with my 3G but seems the problem is same as like other persons, Just 5 dots and no signal. I try several time install and uninstall YellowsnOw and 3g off, Airplane mode on-off but all the same.

Don't know what to do now,

are yoy using cydis i found it easier when i downloaded from installler
just download reboot turn airplane off and on

Almost everything is working on mine except EDGE. Can anyone help please. I want to stop messing around with this is Sunday time for the familiy.

wht is you APN you can find it in general>cellular data network

I was able to see that option before I unlock the phone, now I can't find it anywhere

so you cant see your network settings

install apn editing from cydia. that should get it back to settings - general - network - Cellular data Network

EDIT: Can you see Cellular data network? Can you see APN?

No when I go in to network it only gives me a VPN not APN

No. I already installed that from cydia and nothing

first, uninstall yellowsn0w
try to reset the network settings.
and install the latest yellowsn0w.
reset the network settings.

reboot.

if the network doesn't show, turn on the airplane mode ON. and wait about 10sec.(this is important)

and THEN turn off the airplane. BOOM!

yellowsn0w is ONLY for 3g's.

and for 2g iphones it's already been unlocked/jailbroken.

go to dev team website, and you'll be able to find it. if not it's here on the forums.

have you tried to reinstalling the yellowsn0w? and resetting the network?

and after reinstall yellowsn0w and then try to perform airplane on/off trick.

yeah I tried that... I'm gonna try that again, as well as the terminal thing one more time. It seems that for whatever reason, .9.5 is preventing my phone from even searching for a network. Weird...

My phone was doing the same thing, and when I used a different sim to install 0.9.5 is when it started working. I don't have to mess with airplane mode or anything now.

All I did was uninstall 0.9.5, reset settings, insert diff. sim, installed 0.9.5, reboot and got signal, then changed sim and been working perfect ever since.

Just my experience.

Well my apn was already loaded. It is weird like that. The reason I asked if APN editing was currently installed, is because if you already had APN editing on your iphone and then installed apn editing it could have caused a glitch and removed apn editing.

I am in the Caribbean on a local network. My 2g works fine but this app is by working at all.
