Less issues with 0.9.4. Running ATT and T-Mo US sims no issues at all.

edit: notice i need to turn on airplanemode then off again to find service, other then that, it works pretty well.

Until my g/f gets home and I can try and see if her Rogers sim will work, The only issue I know of with the update so far is the constant loss of signal and that is after I reset network settings.

t-mobile usa new sim card. Installed 9.4 tried everything with terminal boss and ssh. everything works but outside calls. any updates I still believe u need a old sim card for this to work. I got it to work perfectly with an old sim card.

I just changed the permissions to 777 for the heck of it and my signal loss has stopped(of atleast for now for now) I have to wait until my g/f gets home to test out her Rogers sim to see if it will work in it.

It's a SIM card issue.. not a permissions thing. Good call though.

Alright. Some great news!

I used Yellowsn0w 0.9.4 on my best friends (Rowin) AT&T locked phone (used a Vodafone IN SIM, using it in India ofcourse), and it WORKS!

Call out, Call in, SMS out, SMS in. Will test DATA soon with my Vodafone IN SIM.

w00tz0r!

<3 Dev team!

Method used : Install Yellowsn0w, 2 Reboots through Bossprefs.

Mines been working pretty good on 0.9.1, I'm wondering if I should update to 0.9.4 anyways. The only problem I have is reboot it will drop service, but I just have to re-input a few commands in terminal turn airplane on/off and it'll work again. Does the new update fixes this yet?

I tried tattoojack's suggestion and changed the permissions to 777 rebooted thru sb(not sure if that matters though) and all the issues with signal dropping stopped. I read your reply saying it is a sim and not a permissions issue so I changed it back to 644 and rebooted again and the signal issue started again. I then decided to change it back to 777 and now the signal is full constantly.

If you havn't yet, go to manage, sources, edit, add, input "apt9.yelloesn0w.com" and add source. then under changes when done it will be there. If done so already, you mus update by refreshing sources. I had miss matched before, I just had to keep exiting and retrying until it worked.

So doing this on T-Mobile USA? You couldn't make outgoing calls.. and now you can? Be specific please. I see your info says Fido. I was referring specifically to T-Mobile USA outgoing call signal crashing.
