For anyone who is having a problem getting the carrier to read with the new 3G unlock....try this:

take out sim card (iPhone on)
reinsert it
click airplane mode on then off
it should now say "searching" at the top left
now it should read your carrier

it worked perfectly for me

So anyway, I was out tonight and made the grave mistake of trying to make a call and lost signal. Spent about half an hour in the parking lot resetting network, rebooting, popping the sim, and going into airplane mode to no avail (on .91 yellowsn0w). It's the third time my phone lost signal when I forgetfully made a call and I spent too much time trying to get it back. Once I got home and grabbed some wifi, I updated to .94 and decided what the hell let's see how difficult it is to regain signal. Surprisingly, with .94 all it takes is a reboot + popping sim and I get my signal back in 1 try. Great job dev team with this update! (Still no outgoing calls though)

actually it isn't i.q.'s. There is no need for the apostrophe.

the plurals for capital letters and numbers used as nouns are not formed with apostrophes.
Examples:

She consulted with three m.d.s.
But
she went to three m.d.s' offices.
The apostrophe is needed here to show plural possessive.
She learned her abcs.
The 1990s not the 1990's
the '90s or the mid-'70s not the '90's or the mid-'70's
she learned her times tables for 6s and 7s.

with .94 u should only have to switch airplane mode on and off, no need to pop out the sim.

Looks like when you get into an area with no signal it won't regain signal immediately. I went into settings and clicked on Carrier, it searched and found T-Mobile I clicked on it and my service came back on.

Just put your phone in DFU mode and restore to 2.2 again, then you should be ready to go again.

Still fluctuating or loss of signal on original AT&T sim. Good luck to you guys, I'll wait until it's more stable before re-installing. Kudos to the Dev-Team, this is great work and I'm sure they'll have it bullet proof very soon.

Crazy, sure but let it be known that DMSKilla has been talking mess about the dev team release since the thread started. Just had to let that be known as well not trying to take up for this guy.

They also released the source... DMSKilla why don't you start on a fix?

I think what he was really trying to say is----- This is free work and people like DSMKilla and others that have the BALLS to say this was a failed release when in fact there have been many successful reports. They also continue with the updates being released. Sit back and relax....

BTW- Been working since the release. I have an older model tmobile usa sim.
