    Actually it isn't i.q.'s. There is no need for the apostrophe.

    The plurals for capital letters and numbers used as nouns are not formed with apostrophes.
    Examples:

    She consulted with three M.D.s.
    BUT
    She went to three M.D.s' offices.
    The apostrophe is needed here to show plural possessive.
    She learned her ABCs.
    the 1990s not the 1990's
    the '90s or the mid-'70s not the '90's or the mid-'70's
    She learned her times tables for 6s and 7s.

    Hope this helped

    I know i'm a newbie and all, but after getting frustrated because i would lose my signal every 10 sec. I followed all the instructions and nothing worked. After installing and uninstalling yellowsn0w and jailbreaking a few times all i had to do is go to the settings and RESET ALL SETTINGS (not reset network settings) it finally worked! I'm thinking it was residual settings that kept it from not working. Try my method out and tell me if it works for u guys. Good luck

    After reading that some sim cars might work, i deceided to try my moms sim card which she has had for awhile...... AND EVERYTHIG WORKS!!!!!!!!!
    I was able to MAKE CALLS OUT, receive calls. Send and receive text. The first 2 numbers in the sim card are (26).

    Can tmobile swap simcard info?
    Yes you can call tmobile and they can swap the info from the simcards. They state it takes 24hours to reflect but is more like 12 hours and you can keep your number as well!!!

    just wait till the mods get up and see all the name calling and bickering and waste of posts.
    i know alot of people who will have infractions in the a.m.

    and a couple who will most likely be banned.

    and even if your curse words are censored, they will eventually give infractions for it.
    also any and all name calling is grounds for infraction or ban.

    good luck BOYS

    better get to that edit button.

    sleep tite

    I finally got it to work Im in USA T-Mobile user, after I went through all the steps I took out the sim card and put in a ATT sim card and then waited like 30 seconds and then took it out and put in my T-Mobile sim card and then it started working, if not reboot it and it def work, but turn off first by holding the home and power button at the same time and then wait a minute after the phone turns off and then turn it back on.

    The card that you want will have 5 sets of numbers on top of each other, with a vertical number next to them that will say something like 37.01a or something similar. It has to be earlier/lower than 39.01 or it will be pointless to get the card

    * Test:
    I have read all 51 posts, and my is the 52nd post.
    I followed all the instructions and my iPhone 3G never worked with T-Mobile!!!
    I tried all possible solutions mentioned in all posts.
    I tried on the followings:
    1 x 16GB iPhone 3G White 2.2
    1 x 16GB iPhone 3G Black 2.2
    3 x 8GB iPhones 3G Black 2.2
    7 x T-Mobile SIM cards

    * Result:
    All failed (No Service, Invalid SIM, no signal, etc...)
    Except one "PARTIALLY" worked (incoming call ok, but outgoing call always fails, plus sometimes freezes up my iphone, plus, after reboot, I have to redo all the "unpleasant" steps again in order to get signal...)

    * Conclusion:
    yellowsn0w 9.4 is NOT working properly yet.

    thanks that stopped the fluxuation(sp) of the ATT signal but it gives me an invalid sim when i try to use a tmobile sim..imma just keep it on 777 for ATT since i have no use for tmobile yet

    I also had the same problems but on my iphone I went to SETTINGS/GENERAL/RESET/RESET ALL SETTINGS
    This method actually worked for me. I mentioned it earlier and it seems that no one else gave me any feed back. When I followed the instructions my phone failed every single time with no signal or invalid sim. I kept resetting NETWORK SETTINGS and kept coming up with the same results. While looking through all the settings I noticed after installing and uninstalling YellowSn0w over and over again in SETTINGS/GENERAL/ABOUT screen it still had AT&T as the network after installing my Philippine Globe sim and USA T-Mobile sim. After I went to SETTINGS/GENERAL/RESET/RESET ALL SETTINGS and reset all settings it finally picked up on both T-mobile and Globe Philippines sim. I'm thinking there were some residual settings that was never removed with installing YellowSn0w. Someone else try it and tell me if it works for you guys. Good Luck!

    bballcat03: mine sim card reads 37.05a and it works fine with yellowsn0w...let me know what you're doing and maybe i can help you out! Don't ask PMSKilla or StealthBiatch for help since all they do is complain, complain, complain...etc...you get the point.
    I tried damn near every suggestion on here and in other blogs, SBSsettings, BOSSPREFS, mobile terminal, etc etc etc....none of them worked

    I'm in California but I'm traveling to the Philippines on monday and was trying to unlock this before I go there. I finally got it to work for me. Sorry it didn't work for you. I thought I found the solution. I hope the next version helps you out. You can also try to do the flight mode thing also after doing the reset all settings thing. I used the flight mode to swap from different sim cards to try it out.

    UPDATE FOR ME::::::

    I F'd up my iPhone playing around trying to customize and had to finally resort to restoring, re-jailbraking, etc...

    Well now, I can't do anything. I can't even get signal bars to show up.

    So I go from earlier today (and yes I had updated to the new yellowsnow and could text and receive calls) being able to do everything but make calls, to now not being able to do a damned thing.

    WTF?!?!?!?

    ******EDIT*****

    Got it working again...WHEWWWWWW....still can't make calls :*(

    I decided when I go see the wife tomorrow I will pick up a turbo sim v2.2 so I can make phone calls until the dev team works out the kinks with their sh*t
