I cant even find yellowsn0w in cydia...any 1 no why??

EDIT: Sorry i hadnt added the source but now i have it installed,,,,now im just trying to get it to work..any1 who helps will be thanked a million times lol..

i was also getting invalid sim then I just left the sim in there and 10 minutes later I came back and it said tmobile and had 5 bars of service....also what seemed to work for me was to reset the network settings.

I actually have the turbo sim for 2.2 (not the rebel sim, but the black plastic one). Its not flawless. In areas of low signal it'll drop to no service and to regain service I have to pop the sim into a spare phone then pop it back into my iphone. Kind of an inconvenience. I probably do it at least once a day. Then again no solution is perfect for the 2.28 basebands yet :[ Seems most of us can't make outgoing calls with yellowsn0w. Hopefully it'll be addressed soon. I much rather prefer software unlock then hardware unlock. Popping out my sim upon rebooting is a whole lot easier than switching phones for when I lose signal. :]

i have the same problem. im getting invalid sim. i wonder if it's because i need a new sim chip? cause my sim chip is pretty old. anyone else have this problem.

actually i have a SIM FAILURE. i dont understand what that means. but i put my girls sim card in. and the AT&T sim works.

-- omg! as i am typing this posting. my phone just connected to tmobile. all i did was restart it a few times. and left it there for a while.

how can i verify baseband?

Read the description....this is 3g unlock only.

2g unlock has been out for a long time.
