Citrix and Windows on the iPhone

Citrix is gearing up to release their Citrix Receiver, which is a remote screen software that connects to a PC. It gives you the illusion that you’re running Microsoft OS on the iPhone. Citrix says that users will have “full Windows capability.” This includes cut and paste! – Inside Windows that is.
Although this is not the first remote screen app for the iPhone, it is the first one that is being back by a big company and many think it will work well.
According to Citrix the Receiver will be important for:
“- Web sites that require flash
- Medical Apps
- Web apps that need IE
- Cut & Paste ( within Citrix sessions )”
Sounds pretty cool, hopefully it comes out soon!

I was reading about that earlier. They're hoping to have an initial release in the App Store 1H2009. With my corporate network in a Citrix environment, this will be a great addition to my iPhone.

what a load of very old crap
its really old. It was old news the last time it came up with someone saying they can run Windows XP on the iPhone. well I can run Vista...
Do a search in the store for Mocha VNC
I've been using that for about 6 months now. Or however long FW 2.0 has been out for. It was actually started in FW 1.1.4.
About the Flash stuff, I think they mean you can run Flash stuff in windows and see it on the iphone. I can run anything in windows and see it in the iphone. I can cut and paste, I can do everything Vista can do on the iPhone.
It's a huge load of crap, "“full Windows capability.” This includes cut and paste! – Inside Windows that is." Like wow, I didnt know windows could cut and paste. Thats just a stupid comment.Apple wants clones instead of customers.

Beyond ridiculous in my not so humble opinion. Get a Windows mobile phone if you need Windows.
I write Mac only tutorials for the iPhone and own every model. My iPhones run on the following SIMs/networks: AT&T, GoPhone, H2O, O2, SimpleMobile, T-Mobile and Verizon.

Jaddu VNC does that as well. Bad thing about it is if your IP address changes, then your screwed, well at least I am. The guy who called this post crap, you should have realized that by now 90% of AppleChics post aren't very good.
If you want this why wait, Jaadu VNC works perfectly but you do get what you pay for.

What 2.2.1? That was a fake.
If there is an update Apple better put in better SMS features, I need forwarding and to delete an individual text. I already paid for a phone that cost more than other phone and has less features than any other phone on the market.
I'm sick of paying more money for apps that shoulda been on the phone already. No wonder people use cracked apps! And no I didn't know these features were missing when I bought it!

Not to sound like a donk but.... don't read them and don't complain.. obviously its been slow in the news the past couple of weeks, but the other mods didnt have great posts either. It's hit or miss, if the story doesnt relate to you don't read it, you dont have to. AppleChic is just doing her job.
As for the actual app.. I dont quite get the difference between this and VNC... And I think the whole VNC thing is rather silly.. I mean if your in the area of your wifi network and need to do something to the computer your close enough to walk there.. To me VNC just breeds laziness, but I'm sure it has professional purposes as well. For my needs its kind of useless.. The thing that bugged me about the flash was A. the factor that it was a slow frame refresh rate so you didnt get the true feel. and B. the fact that there was no sound (at least through the iphone) Anyways we shall see what this has to offer.17" MacBook Pro

This is overrated, I was using logmein to do the dame thing and it is extremely slow and viewing a flash webpage is helpful, but as far as flash video you wont get the sound and the video playback sucks. Unless this new company can fix those this is kinda worthless to me.
If I helped you dont be afraid to click thanks
