Many of us who are awaiting the release of an iPhone nano at next month’s Macworld should also be aware of surprisingly realistic knockoffs.

AppleInsider has found these photos of iPhone nano knockoffs that recently hit the southeast Asian market. The clones are designed to mimic the real thing as closely as possible and even have the iPhone branding. Software is also incredibly similar with a layout and icons stolen directly from Apple.







The fakes could surface in other areas soon with the release of the real thing and could fool some with untrained eyes … but that’s none of us here at MMi ;-)

wouldnt it be funny if the source of the rumour that apple is releasing a nano (the company that listed nano cases) created those cases for the knockoffs, and not the real thing....and that apple doesnt plan on releasing a nano!?
