As we have previously posted, ModMyi.com is now our permanent domain. While ModMyiPhone.com and ModMyiFone.com have redirected to our new domain since the change, these domains will no longer redirect as of January 1st, 2009. While we would like to continue redirecting, our agreement with Apple (which has allowed us to keep our doors open) requires our previous domains go completely inactive.

Please update your MMi bookmarks with our new domain if you have not already. If you have posted links to us in the past and have the ability to edit them we would appreciate it if you would update them to point to ModMyi.com.

That's not illegal, and nor does it infringe Apple in any way. This site could be all about throwing your iPhone in the toilet bowl and Apple couldn't do anything about it.

I just have 1 simple question.. why the *new domain names.... (changing words)?

Why didn't they just stick to the original... in which how its known properly.

But anyways yes I do love better shorter domain names *modmyi.com hehee Smaller is Sexy right?

He answered it right in his first post it has to do with the "iPhone" name being copyrighted so he had to change it for legal reasons or this site wouldn't be able to exist and like you said modmyi sounds pretty cool.

In response to Dale 1v, I had a message removed by Apple on their discussion board. I in jest suggested that iphone owner that had the same problem with the digitizer going bad pelt the persons at the iphone store with said phones. Could no take a joke.
