iPhone DROP tests are IN!! (Maybe too strong for some viewers)
While anxiously awaiting my iPhone activation to go through this morning I found this horrifying video of initial iPhone Durability DROP TESTS from PCWORLD... watch at your own risk (I nearly tossed my cookies.)

Not too shabby. Got some scratches from dropping, which always sucks, but the screen seems to be hard as a diamond. Nice.

Wow, the glassed screen is VERY IMPRESSIVE! This thing is a monster!

Was I the only one screaming back at the video... nnnnnNOOOOOOOO!!!
Very comforting in the end to know that if my iPhone ever gets into a fight with some car keys, or a sidewalk that it will emerge unscathed. I dropped my iPod video 30gig once (while trying to put it in its case!) and it fell about 3 feet onto my garage floor. In horror I picked it up fearing the worst and it was totally fine.

Wow, very impressive. I guess Apple made a good move in updating the screen from plastic to glass. I still can't believe it didn't make any scratches after watching him brutally rub that key against it. I wonder if I can get my car coated in whatever material the screen is made of. I'll admit I did cringe a bit when he dropped it on the sidewalk.

That's my worst nightmare right now. I try to handle it like a laptop and hold it very securely. It just feels slippery in my fingers.
