...for the iPhone?

The scans are for this month's Famitsu (japanese mag if the picture didn't made it obvious) show Metal Gear on the iPhone. The story seems to be based around MGS4 but aside from this scan there's no more info.

What's really curious about this is that it's coming on the iPhone rather than a PSP of all places.

EDIT: it is now OFFICIAL! Holy crap MGS on the iPhone.

Heh heh my friend always calls me to hear my phone make the codec noise and since i know its him i answer "This is Snake" That would be interesting to play on the phone. With MGS4 they had a few Sixaxis shakes so it would be interesting to see what they come up with for the accelerometer and stuff on this game.

Just a quick question, how much better can the graphics get on the iPhone without Apple releasing hardware upgrades?

Most of the games although they are very good are lacking in graphic quality but how limited is the iPhone at the moment?

i have the codec for my ringer and lock/unlock sound too. and i have the "!" sound for email, and some more for sms and alarms. this just made my day a little bit better. ive been playing the MGS4 demo on the PS3 lately and cant wait to buy this!

How can you guys be seriously excited about this? Fans I understand I guess.. but anyone who plays FPS regularly and has tried ANY of the games released on Cydia & AppleStore (Such as : Quake, Cube, QuakeIII Arena Ported, Etc) They all suck! The controls are horrible not to mention the frame rates make me want to rip the hair out of my head.

I love the iPhone but I have come to terms that it is not a gaming device for First Person Shooters.

I see what you are saying man but you gotta admit that its an amazing phone that can actually handle the game MGS..but I see what you are saying about it actually be controllable...

I personally have been diehard since MGS on PS1. I would buy it regardless just as a novelty. I do pray for the best though
