Hah! when I can get an album from itunes anywhere near the price that i can get a physical CD that has zero DRM on it...it might be worth considering. until then, i would just be paying more for an inferior product.
about a year ago, i decided to go 100% legal with my music. i deleted my ~120gb downloaded collection and started purchasing. i'm now back up to ~32gbs...freakin expensive and time consuming to try to build my whole collection back with legit CDs...but hey, it's the right thing to do.
oh and the whole reason i came in here: itunes 7.4.1 is downloading for me now (mac os)...i wonder what this update will bring?
Upon a second reading, it seems like most of you went straight to 7.4.1. For some reason, I updated itunes to 7.4 (on the night of the keynote) then found 7.4.1 during a software update this morning. 7.4 did not allow me to create ringtones, but did have the ringtones tab in my iphone section of itunes. very odd!
