well it works on windows now just convert any unprotected file to acc then right click on it click on show in explorer to open the file in a new window, change the file extention to m4a to m4r double click the m4r file to play in itunes dont have to play it all and yes it will play, now it will be added to your new ringtone library and also show up in ringtone tab, go back and change the m4r to m4a go to ringtone library and try playing it you will get an error saying it cant play couse it cant find the original file would you like to locate it, or something like that say yes it will open a window where u can look for the ringtone when u find it press open, it will start playing again , dont have to play it all, you then are good to sync your new ringtone to your iphone.. Hope you understand that i tryed my best to make it easy... Just trying to help..
